It’s starting to happen: casual cyclists are putting their bikes away for the winter.

There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but we know you’re different. You’ve got an iron will, and you’re down to ride your bike all year long. For you, the pain of the wind whipping against your chapped face is nowhere near as brutal as the claustrophobia of a crowded subway car.

We’ve got your back. Chari & Co. is proud to present the newest item in our ongoing collaboration with noted New York City designer Steven Alan.  After months of planning and designing, we think we’ve come up with the perfect thing to help ward off the winter chills. Using their popular Funnel Neck Sweatshirt as a base, and a unique Polar fleece fabric that is breathable, durable, quick-drying, light, and warm, Steven Alan has created the ideal riding sweatshirt. Fabricated in New York out of American and Japanese materials, its special features include:

–Metal eyelets under the arms and at the hems to aid ventilation

–Secure snap front pockets

–An interior phone compartment

–An oversized zipper that won’t freeze

–Cotton rib cuffs and waist to keep out the cold

Use it as a mid-layer. Or as an outer layer (if you’re a tough guy). But, most importantly, use it to stay in the saddle during the coldest months of the year.

You can purchase the sweatshirts in two colors navy and grey.
