A nice little segment about Joe from BMW

We at Chari & Co. love crazy-colored bikes more than almost anybody, but let’s be real—black and white frames never go out of style. So, we totally understood when some of you were bummed that the new Gangsta wasn’t originally available in the two most timeless colors out there. That’s why we teamed up with BMW to hook you guys up with a very limited number of black and white V.2 frames (available in short and long).
If Mad Max rode a track bike, it’d probably be a murdered-out Gangsta. Throw some black Omniums, wheels, and risers on a black V.2, and you’ve got a rig that’s ready for a duel in the Thunderdome. On the other hand, nothing is more eye-catching than a white Gangsta cutting through a sea of yellow taxis in the dirty NYC streets.
Choose a color and build yourself a dystopian destroyer or a clean city machine today. These won’t last long!

One of the great things about the BMW Gangsta is that it’s so damn versatile. Throw risers and Chukkers on one, and it’s a sick freestyle bike. Install some bullhorns and Race Blades and you’ve got yourself a fast city destroyer.
So, when Ken needed a winter bike that could cut through the dirty NYC slush, he knew that the Gangsta was up to task. He decided to give his frame the single-speed cyclocross treatment, outfitting it with cantilever brakes, road drops, and Omniums. The Hold Fast straps can accommodate his big winter boots, and the knobby tires are burly enough to roll through salt, dirt, and, ice with ease.
The snow’s going to start falling soon; don’t get stuck taking the subway or begging your mom for a lift. Buy a Gangsta frame and build it up into a winter beast.
Available in red and raw for $595.Available in black and white (limited) for $695.

It’s back…
The Gangsta changed the game when it dropped in 2005, proving that a fixed-gear bike could be bombproof while still riding like butter. So many of our friends work, commute, and race on Gangstas—and they all swear that the frame is one of the all-time greats.
Now, BMW has finally brought it back—and it’s better than ever. Featuring custom-drawn stays and a main triangle fabricated out of U.S.-made True Temper SuperTherm tubing, the Gangsta Track V.2 is stiffer than the OG version. And the new fork, the “Clusterfork,” is a unicrown beast that’ll allow you to sprint through the streets with supreme confidence. But don’t worry, some things have stayed the same: V.2 still has BMW’s signature tough-as-nails seat cluster.
Designed in Brooklyn, the V.2 is fabricated in Taiwan under rigorous quality standards. The move overseas has opened up a lot of new manufacturing possibilities—and helped BMW (and us) keep the price reasonable. So buy one today!
The frameset includes:

-fork
-integrated headset
